“Once upon a time ……”, that is how most fairy tales start. Right? But fairy tales do not exist, or do they?
Not far from the French west coast, only a six-hour drive from Calais, in an area not yet discovered by tourism, lies the Domaine Bonneblond.
You can describe the road to this place as magical. You only have to find it.
We are happy to reveal and to share our special place with you. We hope you will be as enchanted as so many before you!
You have a magnificent view of the farmlands around you. Every year various crops are grown on the land.
The pool provides the necessary cooling. But when you are more adventurous, you can sail with a sturdy raft to the deck in the swimming lake.
If the weather is not so good for a day, the children can have a great time in the play loft with a dressing box and board games.
Have you ever seen a pig up close and tickled its tummy? Janna and Kobus, our Kune-Kune pigs, really love cuddles. We have two horses, a donkey, chickens and even a rooster. Also, rabbits, dogs and a cat are around. It is a lively bunch of animals on the farm!
Fresh bread rolls are prepared every morning in the country shop. And in the evening, you can take a seat at our table d'hôte table. You can also take out chicken and chips or take out your own created pizza. Tasty!
When night falls, you can see a hundred thousand stars in the sky. Even the Milky Way is visible. How special and unique is that! How about telling exciting stories around the campfire or roasting marshmallows? That is a beautiful end to another day.
